Hotel Monte Ulia - San Sebastian

The free parking was a huge bonus! The room was comfy, and the staff were really nice. Only downside was the breakfast needed more variety. Eggs or bacon would've been fab 🥚

Poor internet connection in the room, had to go in the longe for a fair connection. Small room, with a bit worn down facilities. Half hour walk from town centre - we did not mind because we prefer to walk, but there is a good bus line to the centre, no. 13. Certainly not good value for money but this is normal for San Sebastian since all accomodation is expensive here.

Spotless small hotel with exceptionally nice staff. Climate control, a personal safe, and multi-channel TV in the room and the extremely comfy bed. Particularly good location to Gu San Sebastian. Freshly cooked food in the designed restaurant.

Nestled just outside the main bustle, this place turned out to be an unexpected gem! With free parking and comfortable, quiet rooms, it's perfect for a restful stopover. Friendly staff. A short stroll leads you to the gorgeous town center!

Quirky staff!

The staff are very pleasant and the hotel is conveniently located. The bus takes you quickly to the beach and city centre. Free parking and wifi were also great. It was cheaper than many of the hotels near the beach and centre.

Free breakfast would have been nice.

The location was great and the free parking was on site. The breakfasts were always excellent with a set amount of food and also cakes.

The best part of my stay at Monte Ulia hotel was to leave it. The impression is the personal is carefully choosed between people who hate voyagers.

The hotel was easy to find and has plenty of on-site free parking. It is in a very safe area and is a 15 min walk from central San Sebastian. You can get the bus from straight outside the hotel though. The room was very clean with a safe and a fan but no air con.

The walls are thin and there are no English tv channels.

The air conditioning was set too low. I struggled with the room key card, which rarely worked, and staff didn't seem concerned. Breakfast options were limited, and I felt unwelcomed when asking for basic items like coffee.

Receptionist was very polite, friendly and charming.

Very expensive for limited facilities. We stayed in a Premier Inn for £29 per night which had better facilities, same level of customer service and cleanliness. 169 euros for 2 nights was OTT.

The hotel was a little dated but very clean. Rooms were comfortable and decent size.. Bus stop was only 50m away with a bus ride only 10 minutes away from the beach or city centre. Walk only took 20-30 mins and was a nice stroll. Reception spoke limited English but were as helpful as could be. Balcony had a nice view of countryside

Put the do not disturb sign on door but cleaners still came in. Spot lights outside building shine in at night, but shutters were used on second night. The room could use a bar fridge. But overall a nice stay, good value for money & not too far from town.

The free parking was a major advantage, great to leave the car without concern. The breakfast featured delicious baked chocolate cakes, a lovely surprise and a great way to start the day. The room could use some updates, as there were noticeable signs of wear and tear. The air conditioning struggled to maintain a comfortable temperature. The location, while quiet, required a longer walk into town than anticipated.
